About Llysmeurig
Llysmeurig is a detached period house in a quiet cul-de-sac in the village of Pwll Trap, St Clears. Built in the 1930’s by our grandparents as their family home, the house has many of its original features, which sit alongside modern-day comfort and convenience.
Llysmeurig has a large enclosed garden, and, for photography enthusiasts, has a darkroom in one of its outbuildings.
There is a local pub within easy walking distance and the centre of St Clears – with its pubs, shops, local bakery and takeaways, including an award winning butchers and deli – is about half a mile away.
St Clears has easy access to the M4 via the A40 and is just over an hour from Cardiff.
From Llysmeurig you have easy access to all the attractions and activities that pack Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. These include stunning beaches, theme parks, wildlife and animal parks, castles, gardens and the world famous Wales Coast Path. You can find out more about what the area has to offer here.
Llysmeurig is four miles from Cefnmeurig farmhouse and about 18 miles from Porthmeurig apartment, so ideal if you’d like to book more than one property for a group holiday or family reunion.
If you’d like to make the most of Llysmeurig’s darkroom while you’re on holiday, why not treat yourself to a short photography course.
You can also use the family history research centre at Cefnmeurig to research your Welsh family history.
